Cold and Windy

Black clouds above pond, poplars and barn
Amazing how quickly you get used to it being warm.  It is still more than 20°C today but it feels really cold, especially in the wind.  Ridiculous really.  We have a massive sky here, like you get in the Norfolk Broads, and there are big black clouds billowing up around us and then scudding across the sky.

Today we tidied up what we call the roundabout, because the drive used to go right around it.  It is one of those historic things, because it has now been replaced by a large pond, but as old habits die hard it will always be the roundabout to us.  Anyway, we gave it a good spring clean so it all looks spick and span.  At least it will do when the trench for the wiring is filled in, the crates of tiles are moved and the pond liner is covered with stone and wooden beams.

In amongst all this, we have been transfixed by the news about Dominique Strauss-Kahn, which has caused quite a shock amongst the locals.
